Thanks to the addition of cloud images from NASA’s archive I’ve stretched the collection of month-long Google Earth global weather animations back to May 2006

The short video below plays back all 16 months worth (May 2006 - August 2007) in 30 seconds!  If you look carefully you can see several Atlantic storms, including Hurricane Dean scuttling along the bottom near the end.
